Sadly we had to say the hardest goodbye to Diesel on 31/10/2023 to prevent suffering as his old body was giving up on him. He is so very missed and lives on in his children and great grandchildren now.

Diesel is the FIRST DALMATIAN to gain the new Veteran Warrant award which he got his final points for on Good Friday 19th April 2019. We are so proud of this achievement.

Diesel's dam is a beautiful Champion Shulune bitch and his sire is a Norwegian import bred by the well known Perdita's kennel owned by Louise Clement at Caldecacre.
Diesel was actually the last puppy available from Michelle's litter and although I was attached to him after just seeing his pictures,my circumstances at the time (breeding my own litter & lack of space) meant I couldn't have him. He found a home at 5 months old but the new owners couldn't cope with his high energy levels so came back to Michelle 2 months later. I didn't meet him in the flesh until January 2011 when he was 9 months old but I fell in love with him instantly. I just loved his temperament, so soft, loving and so eager to please I just adored him. I was delighted then Michelle agreed for me to have him and keep joint ownership of him. So Diesel came to live with is in February 2011. I now have the pleasure of showing him as well.
I will be forever grateful to Michelle for allowing him to come and live with us. He came to me just when I was going through a very difficult time and he has become a huge part of my life who I could never be without. He has exceeded all my dreams and is such a charming loving dog to live with.
Puppies sired by Diesel
Diesel sired his first litter to Malibu in July 2012, litter of 12 puppies consisting of 7 bitches and 5 dogs, none patched. Their son Blake aka Dalamanti Phantom Medal At Acinonyx is being shown by his owner and our good friend Lauran Wheaton and he has qualified for Crufts 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017.
Diesel's second litter was with our liver girl Chelsea, 9 puppies consisting of 4 bitches and 5 dogs, born July 2013, no patches. We have kept a lovely girl from this litter, Dalamanti Ice Ruby aka Jovi, who not only qualified for Crufts 2nd time out, but also took Best Puppy in Show at the DCoS Championship show qualifying for the Dalmatian Puppy of The Year. She has since gained her Junior Warrant qualifying for Crufts for life, following on with winning her Show Certificate of Merit. Her litter brother Enzo, Dalamanti Black Moon has also been shown by his owner Liz Thompson with much success and qualified for Crufts 2015 at his first Championship Show as well as being consistently well placed at both Championship and Open Shows. Enzo also won his stud book number in 2017 by winning Limit Dog at the Dalmatian Club Of Scotland Championship show under breed specialist Lesley Suggett.
His third litter also to a Dalamanti daughter owned by Emma Cole in Exeter was of 11 pups, mixture of liver and black and no patches and all lovely dark eyes. Emma kept a girl from this litter who is currently being shown and qualified for Crufts on her 2nd outing.
His litter born in February 2017 was his first by a non Dalamanti / Marricdale bitch, Jewelruby Pearl. There were 9 chunky puppies, all black, 7 boys and 2 girls. Again no patches and no blue eyes.
Diesel has sired a lovely show litter born at the end of February 2018 to Alex Cobb's lovely Kalokairie girl Paloma, Kalokairie's Creme De La Creme. They had 9 lovely puppies all with lovely dark eyes, liver and black, 7 boys and 2 girls. The puppies were BAER hearing tested all with full hearing.
In 2019 Diesel sired 2 litters, a beautiful singleton by Int CH Kelevra Classic Cliche JW ShCM, a gorgeous girl called Patsy, Kelevra Mind Your Nebula. She is currently doing very well in the show ring and we wish her owners/breeders all the best of success with her.
His other litter of 2019 was by a beautiful liver girl called Leffe, Aisla Thistle, who isn't a show girl but has an excellent pedigree. The litter was 9 pups and all were fully hearing. Hazel and Paula from Dotlun affix have taken a boy from this litter to show and we wish them all the best of success with him, Rogan, Apache Dream Catching For Dotlun.

However all dogs were in superb condition and handling was very good. 1st Barrett's Shulune Ice Phantom of Dalamanti – Dog Challenge Certificate winner. This is a quality dog that surpassed all with fantastic movement today. He covered the ground so well and could not be ignored not only on the move but also on the stand – excellent ring presence! Only criticism I could have with this boy was his weight but could see through the dilemma of bitches in season and a dog with no appetite. He is a very nice black dog with excellent pigmentation. Pleasing head with well set on ears. Correct length of neck leading to good body and structure, having well sprung chest with strong front. A dog of excellent balanced proportion with good correct length of back leading to excellent set of tail. He has strong rear quarters developing well with good angulation and form. Good bone throughout leading to nice feet. So pleased to award him a well deserved challenge certificate. He will need more body to take him further."
