Our ethics when we have Dalmatian puppies for sale. 

Important, please read. 

Puppies bred by Dalamanti will be BAER hearing tested, Kennel Club registered, micro chipped, dew claws will be removed, and will come with a lifetime of help and advice. My plan as a breeder is to build a well established name in the Dalmatian world with good health and temperaments as a priority. I would be proud to see some of our puppies in the show ring but certainly do not force puppy buyers to show unless they want to. I can offer advice and guidance for this though if it is something you are interested in doing.

I am a member of the Dalmatian Club of Scotland and the North of England Dalmatian Club, and have been since 2008, I did a brief stint on the DCOS committee, and was on the NOEDC committee for 2 years. So rest assured I abide by breed club rules and do everything I can for the health and wellbeing of the dog and want to ensure they are going to be well loved and looked after in their new homes.

You will be provided with a puppy pack which will include an important diet sheet giving advice about ways to keep purines low, and what foods to avoid, in order to try and reduce the chance of stone forming that is a known issue with Dalmatians. I can also discuss any concerns about this with potential puppy owners.

If you need advice as to whether a Dalmatian puppy is right for your lifestyle, please ask. I want to make sure that my puppies go to the right homes FOR LIFE. That means I will need to know about your lifestyle, working hours, type of home you live in and whether you would have the time to commit to a full time puppy and adult dog, as that is what it will be, FULL TIME!

IMPORTANT: Please be advised that Dalamanti bred puppies will be endorsed to protect their pedigree. This means the Kennel Club wouldn't register puppies unless this is lifted by the breeder (me). This does not mean that you cannot breed from your puppy in future should you want to, but you will have to contact me before breeding and I can discuss lifting the endorsement if the breeding is right. This does not mean you have no control of your dog or its future, but this is for the health and wellbeing of my dogs and to ensure correct ethical breeding. 

There will be a contract to sign saying you agree to this before purchase of a puppy, if you cannot agree to this unfortunately I cannot sell you a puppy. There will be a contract to sign to agree to this when the puppy is collected.

I don't breed often as I believe in my dogs being loved pets first and foremost. Because of this, I often have waiting lists well in advance of litters even being planned. I ask for forever homes only for my planned puppies and I will be very particular about where my Dalamanti babies will go.
