Calli

Calli was born in June 2019 from Jovi's final litter of 13 puppies. Calli is certainly the 'live wire' of the family and absolutely loves to show, even having had a long break from showing when all shows were cancelled, she came back out like she'd never been away. She's got such attitude and character that there is never a dull day with her around and I wouldn't change it for the world. 

For this litter we decided to use Alex Cobb's stunning outgoing boy Cosmo, Kalokairie's Carbon Copy JW who has an absolutely incredible temperament and has sired beautiful puppies with excellent health tests. 

Her name is sentimental as Calli is an anagram of lilac, her ID collar colour, following on from Dalamanti being an anagram of Dalmatian. Hidden is a tribute to our arab mare Hidden Treasure who we had for many years who passed away last year. Glory is after 'Gloria', my Nan who passed away in February 2019. 

We hope to have a fun and successful future with this special girl.

At her first Championship Show, Boston on 11th January 2020, Calli qualified for Crufts 2020. 

At the Joint Dalmatian Club's show February 2020 she qualified for Crufts 2021 by taking 2nd in a fantastic minor puppy bitch class. Just a couple weeks later she attended her first Crufts and was placed 1st in Minor Puppy bitch and went on to take Best Puppy Bitch. We are just thrilled with the start she has had so far. 

May 2024 Calli won her stud book number by getting a fabulous 2nd in Limit Bitch at The Dalmatian Club of Scotland Championship Show. Many thanks to judge Keith Nathan for making her the final one of all my dogs to get this, qualifying for Crufts for life.

Excellent front and rear angulation with lovely markings.  Elegant and stylish mover pushed hard in the challenge"

28th August 2021 - North Of England Dalmatian Club Championship Show - 2nd Post Graduate Bitch - Judge Mary Sparks - Critique: "pretty head and good reach of neck, good deep brisket, moved ok, nicely shown".

28th August 2021 - Driffield Championship Show - Shortlisted in class of 17 Post Graduate Bitch - Judge Lesley Suggett 

20th August 2021 - Dalmatian Club of Scotland Championship Show - 3rd Post Graduate Bitch - Judge Christina Pickup

23rd July 2021 - Leeds Championship Show - 1st Post Graduate Bitch - Judge Jill Peak - Critique: "2 yr old bitch, pleasing type, good head shape, like darker eye, good neck, nice legs and feet, good body, well ribbed back, strong quarters, went soundly."

23rd July 2021 - North Of England Dalmatian Club Open Show - 1st Post Graduate Bitch - Judge Matthew Cooper - also 2nd in brace with kennel mate Cooper. - Critique: "black spotted girl with a pretty head and nice well-set ears, good reach of neck. Has a good front with depth of chest and enough bone, covered in muscle but would just like to see a little more weight on her. Level topline that was held on the move and a well-set tail. Flowed around the ring."

8th July 2021 - East of England Championship Show - 2nd Post Graduate Bitch - Judge Janet Saunders. Critique: "PGB  2 Barrett’s Dalamanti Hidden Glory. B/s on a smaller frame than first but to standard. Pretty head, excellent reach of neck and level topline. Good elbow placement and well placed hocks. A bit of a fidget for her handler, but saw enough to assess her good fluid movement. In good fit condition, but would like just a little more covering."

15th March 2020 - Cheviot & Berwick Canine Society - 1st Dalmatian Open, Best of Breed, Best Puppy in Breed, 2nd AV Puppy - Judge Abbi Adair.

5th March 2020 - Crufts - 1st Minor Puppy Bitch Best Puppy Bitch  - Judge Karen Goff-Leggett (Washakie) - critique: "1 Barrett's DALAMANTI HIDDEN GLORY. Black spotted bitch of 8 months. Very promising puppy. Deep pigmentation, good reach of neck, well angulated with good topline, compact body, clean wither, well set tail, lovely forehand and straight strong bone into cat feet. Moved around the ring with great extension and drive. She looks to have a bright future."

22nd February 2020 - Joint Dalmatian Clubs Championship Show - 2nd Minor Puppy Bitch (qualifying for Crufts 2021) - Judge Hazel Chance (Dotlun) - critique: "2. Barret’s Dalamanti hidden Glory. B. Another nice young girl showing promising characteristics. Slightly bigger then 1 and going through that stage where she is bum high in her growing but this did not distract from her qualities. Another nice head slightly lighter in the eye but a kind and trusting expression. Good shoulder placing and well sprung ribs for her age with a maturing chest. Well-toned and nice long stride on the move."
