Calli

Calli is our newest addition born in June 2019 from Jovi's final litter of 13 puppies. 

For this litter we decided to use Alex Cobb's stunning outgoing boy Cosmo, Kalokairie's Carbon Copy JW who has an absolutely incredible temperament and has sired beautiful puppies with excellent health tests. 

Her name is sentimental as Calli is an anagram of lilac, her ID collar colour, following on from Dalamanti being an anagram of Dalmatian. Hidden is a tribute to our arab mare Hidden Treasure who we had for many years who passed away last year. Glory is after 'Gloria', my Nan who passed away in February 2019. 

We hope to have a fun and successful future with this special girl.

At her first Championship Show, Boston on 11th January 2020, Calli qualified for Crufts 2020. 

At the Joint Dalmatian Club's show February 2020 she qualified for Crufts 2021 by taking 2nd in a fantastic minor puppy bitch class. Just a couple weeks later she attended her first Crufts and was placed 1st in Minor Puppy bitch and went on to take Best Puppy Bitch. We are just thrilled with the start she has had so far.

5th March 2020 - Crufts - 1st Minor Puppy Bitch Best Puppy Bitch  - Judge Karen Goff-Leggett (Washakie) - critique: "1 Barrett's DALAMANTI HIDDEN GLORY. Black spotted bitch of 8 months. Very promising puppy. Deep pigmentation, good reach of neck, well angulated with good topline, compact body, clean wither, well set tail, lovely forehand and straight strong bone into cat feet. Moved around the ring with great extension and drive. She looks to have a bright future."

22nd February 2020 - Joint Dalmatian Clubs Championship Show - 2nd Minor Puppy Bitch (qualifying for Crufts 2021) - Judge Hazel Chance (Dotlun) - critique: "2. Barret’s Dalamanti hidden Glory. B. Another nice young girl showing promising characteristics. Slightly bigger then 1 and going through that stage where she is bum high in her growing but this did not distract from her qualities. Another nice head slightly lighter in the eye but a kind and trusting expression. Good shoulder placing and well sprung ribs for her age with a maturing chest. Well-toned and nice long stride on the move."
